Construction Guyana Style

This building has been in various stages of construction throughout my visist here in Georgetown. The concrete supports and floors seemed to be constructed really quickly, but now it just seems to be being supported by wooden poles and providing storage for random bits of wood.

It almost looks more like a building being demolished than constructed. Will it be finished? Who knows there are other plots along the street with the steel work for a buildings that have been errected and then nothing else has happened for several years.

I doubt I'll see what happens as I've only 2 days left in the office for this project. Tonight is quiz night and one final chance to add to the office collection of trophies. Will we win? Find out tomorrow
