A damp start,but it faired up mid morning,very mild for the time of year.
Among other jobs was taking the hatch off the back of the slurry tanker and mucking out the foot of sludge,stones and muck that was solidified along the bottom. Shoveled out what I could then improvised by attacking a 10 ft length of metal pipe to the water pump hose,sitting the tractor and tanker on the slope behind the steading and flushing the rest out. Won't be biting my finger nails for a day or two anyway !
Haggis for tea seeing as it's Burns night. Didn't have any whisky,so Mrs F and Littlemiss decided to try tequila shots instead. Very multicultural in this house !
