Fair fa' your honest,sonsie face.....
A morning of cattle work. Once everything was fed, headed next door and hauled 3 loads of stirks from there over to the slatted shed here. It was made more interesting by having to avoid the convoys of artic lorries and big tractors and trailers that the estate are using to haul away the wood chip from the last wood they felled in the middle of the farm. And they are obviously getting paid by the load the speed they have been going at the last two days. No room to pass on the single track main roads any way.
Burns night today,so it was haggis for one, as Mrs F and Littlemiss had had their tea by the time I got in tonight. Meant all the more for me though !
The poetry book has my Grandpa's name on the inside cover and dated 25 Jan 1913.
