Flying towards the daylight

We’re home now after a seventeen hour journey door to door.
It all went very smoothly. Thanks BA.
As we neared the UK the sun was rising. We were above the clouds.
We’re well and truly below a thick layer of cloud now and it’s perishing cold. 
I don’t mind, we’ve had a lovely holiday and we’re home safely.
