Dauntless Boatyard.

Just the right weather to run an errand for a friend to this boatyard on Canvey Island to pick up some items from the chandlery store.  Dull, misty and devoid of colour although I have desaturated it a bit to emphasise the atmosphere .  Boatyards are usually muddy, untidy places, full of junk, heavy machinery, tools and unfinished boat projects - this one did not disappoint!  Grabbed a few shots while I took Ginny for a walk along the muddy banks - the tide being out was a bonus to the scene.  Benfleet is upriver from Leigh but I wouldn't think high tide lasts for long.
