Beneath the Parapet

These little blue irises in their secluded corner at the entrance to my friend’s house looked so happy to have the sun shining on them.
It certainly wasn’t shining at the start of the day when it  was rainy and miserable and so it was a welcome surprise to have it appear on my walk to the leafy Grange for a coffee with Sue D.

I have accumulated 6 friends bearing the name Sue which can make life difficult for distinguishing them. I have a Sue B, a Sue C, a Sue D, a Sue H, a Sue L and a Sue P. I was with Sue D today. Tomorrow I will be with Sue C. Three of the others are Blippers leaving Sue L as the outsider.
