Last Full Day!

Lots of things needed to be done today in Rio! Yesterday, we chucked out surplus flat stuff. Today, it was old bed clothes and extra T shirts (for donation to those in need), including my newly-bought Flamengo football shirt, which I gifted to Hugo who will get more use out of it than I will. Postcards were written home and we walked the front, in an autumn-leaves atmosphere, to the Copacabana Palace Hotel for a posh chopp before lunch at La Maison, who have recuperated their Wi-Fi signal after several days.

We are all packed and ready for a market and beach walk tomorrow morning!
