Laura's View, Goodbye
A misty day with odd light shower. Gales have been blowing all day, cleared the mist tonight.
Up early, and popped by Laura's on my way to work. Late shift in the airport again today. I've mostly been working on the check-in desk, helping with oil and gas flights this evening. All scheduled flights in and out on time, finished late with oil flights. Popped by Laura's on my way home for a cuppa, mam and Anne were in too. Feet up now.
It's been a lot milder this past couple of days, sadly that took in the sea mist too. Mist over the hills near Scalloway, and thick in places further south, thankfully clear all day at the airport. The mist did cause problems offshore, resulting in a late start shipping the workers in and out, with the last helicopter landing after 8pm this evening, and then we flew them south from Sumburgh. Taken from Laura's this morning, she lost her view. In the Blett Road, Cunningsburgh.
