2023 Monday — Back Bay

This photo reveals a view across Morro Bay State Park Golf Course toward the southern end of the back bay and the land that leads toward Montano de Oro State Park near Point Buchon, which is the southern point on this great big Estero Bay on California’s Central Coast. That was a long sentence.

This has been a “do nothing” Monday, which is one of the privileges of retirement. So as our usual habit has become we headed out for a drive to lookey-lou late in the afternoon and returned back to the house before sundown. I started some homemade Turkey vegetable soup warming as the sunset became our central attraction.

I should have done some house work; I could have done some yard work (now that the ground has dried some); but mostly I fed the pups, Mr. Fun made his own late morning meal; and in the blink of my eyes, hours vanished.

And that was our 4th Monday of January.
