Tropical Thrush
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,
We are still isolating, by which I mean refusing to leave the house except for food.
Our 14th case was confirmed today: Feefs. She has finally succumbed and has a positive test.
"I thought I was sh*tting a lot," she commented. "Is that a symptom?"
Caro seems to enjoy being housebound. And it is lovely weather here at present so we've had a pretty nice day just hanging out with the cats.
The downside to the spate of sunny weather is that the garden needs watering. Caro complains about it, but I think she quite enjoys it, frankly.
I mean. Look at it.
To prepare for COVID, I bought Caro a big bottle of Tropical Crush. I have no idea how much therapeutic value it is, but you know, vitamin C and all that.
Then we forgot all about it until today. I suddenly remembered and gave her a glass. She drained it pretty quickly. "How was your Tropical Crush?" I asked.
She looked shocked. Then the penny dropped. "Ooohhhh," she said, "I thought you said 'Tropical THRUSH'."
"You don't want that," I replied. "That'll make you walk funny."
Mind you, it might explain her pose in this picture.
