Bleeding hearts

Today's the day ......................... to hang out to dry

Such a lot of rain we've had today.

Not the usual Lake District drizzle that can go on for days on end - but incredibly heavy downpours that could soak you in seconds, followed by a sneaky bit of blue sky and even some sun. Sort of like an April shower.

Could somebody please tell the powers that be that April is long gone - and we're fast running out of May? In another couple of weeks I shall be expecting something resembling SUMMER weather.

Is there anybody out there listening ........................?
