It's still January but I finished this book.

Well it started ok, neede an early morning trip to the shop, then it turned into end of January bleak. I spoke to an old friend who has had a very hard end of 2022. It was good to catch up. It left me really missing my old friends. In my German class we started talking about an hearing more about the Hollocaust. Then on the way home someone was being resuscitated on the tube platform. I hope they will be alright, there were plenty helpers.

In other news I decided to read more and spend less time on my phone. Also wanted to make a point of reading more non fiction. I read about a Hungarian idea where there are 12 themes that people can pick from during the year, there might have been a prize. Something about that idea appealed to me. Finished this today and while it is slightly dated and pre Corona it was very interesting. The vital role of women was great to read about. Growth can't be a thing anymore but it seems that the Economists have not caught up yet.
