Another freezing day
Today was even colder than yesterday. I think it was 1C when I walked Xena this morning, and tonight it will be -8C. This winter we are experiencing harder frosts than I can remember, and today it was again very cold with fog, the ground was frozen solid so it was a crunchy walk as you walked through the woods. Thankfully this meant no mud. I even used my hand warmers in my gloves today as my hands really suffer in this cold. I am off to Norway in March (within the Arctic circle) and I am already worrying about how my hands will cope with the cold.
I did not feel like going anywhere today as the warm house was more tempting than being outside, so after my long walk this morning I spent the rest of the day at home.
Gavin is home tomorrow night, it has been an enjoyable skiing trip for him.
