Frosty

Woke to hard frost right to the tops of the trees.  Forecast indicated temperature was staying low the whole morning so took hound for walk at 8.30am.  Beautiful, bright morning and wrapped up warm was comfortable walking about. 
Had breakfast of hot chocolate, toast and marmalade and half a croissant.  Then got my pastel pencils out again.

Took Kyro into garden where he spotted a fox.  He made a bit of fuss, nowhere near as bad as the screaming when he sees a squirrel.  His interest seemed more curious. The fox watched from next door's garden through the gap in the hedge.  

Foxes are coming in the garden most afternoons to eat the suet sprinkles and scraps left for the birds.  Like all the different birds and squirrels they are cold and hungry. 

Walked Kyro after his lunch when much of the frost had thawed.  Lovely sunny afternoon.

Home for coffee and resumed drawing. See extra - work in progress.

Drew while listening to a superb programme presented by Whispering Bob standing  in for Johnnie Walker on Radio 2.  So many faves.

Stopped drawing when light faded.  Hound huddled up to me as I type.

Dinner and Pottery Throwdown later.
