Blue sky

A beautiful day today. Woke to frost but the sky was blue and pretty clear when I took the hound out.
Have spent the rest of the afternoon in the kitchen with the radio on.  Prepared lasagne for Saturday/Sunday dinners.  Cooked for the hound and prepared Seville oranges for marmalade.  I'm experimenting with cooking the cut oranges overnight in my slow cooker,  hopefully greatly reducing my standing time over the preserving pan. Fingers crossed. 
Now enjoying a quiet sit down with hound beside. Film or book, hmm.
