Day 021/23. Real or Fake?

We found this stone from a piece of jewellery in our kitchen when decorating.....
It's certainly not ours, or either of our daughters'. I have no idea if its a real gemstone or a factory produced fake. It perhaps 2mm across, so not huge.,
Extra picture today shows the mount resin still attached to the stone.
