Pedantic about pendants
A look into a teenager's world/room.
This is my collection of pendants. Some are a little bit quirky.
My most recent addition is the birdcage with a turquoise bird hanging in it, it is so delightful! I was given the apple-half by my boyfriend last Christmas - http://thumb.visualizeus.com/thumbs/09/04/04/apple,movie,photography-d17852e9bf7cb07eb558bc94d476ce8e_m.jpg the idea of the gift was taken from this animation in Eagle Vs. Shark, my favourite movie in which we bonded over for hours when we first met. I went and saw that movie 4 times at the cinema..and bought the DVD the day it came out. If you are a kiwi and you haven't seen this movie, you NEED to go and watch it a.s.a.p! The soundtrack is also a goodie - full of Phoenix Foundation, there's also a beautiful duet by Tessa Rain and Age Pryor on there (Fly My Pretties, anyone?).
My favourite pendant is my camera pendant. It's utterly perfect!
On another note, I eagerly went to school for a full day today. And for the first time, I used up all my frees in the library or art block doing WORK! I am proud of myself - such studious efforts are a rare occurence. Procrastination seems to be key in these endless years of college. I changed my History Research project topic, I am now going to research the effects of WWII on art, literature, and fashion in New Zealand. Unfortunately it must be based on New Zealand, which minimises the information to find by thousands of pages! However, I am feeling really inspired by this topic - I have about 10 books out and can't wait to get going. I also finished reading The Great Gatsby last night, it was so good to finish a book! And a 'Great' book at that. I've been too busy for my own good lately, with being Visual Arts Captain and Stage Challenge. Luckily S.C. has finished, although I almost miss the hours and hours spent in the sewing room and school hall.
I wish I got an account with Blipfoto months ago - I find myself wanting to write about this&that from a few weeks ago - but can't as no one will have a clue what I'm talking about! (e.g. Stage Challenge!)
Anyhoo, I'd like to thank everyone for all the warming comments on my first Blip yesterday. It was really uplifting for me. This one isn't as nice as yesterdays, I think yesterday's may have been the best photo I've ever taken..
See you tomorrow - I can't wait :)
