The ace of spades, the ace of spades

There are some pieces of music that are always in my head. Not just in the sense that I can remember them (see Lemmy's song from the title) but in the way that I think of them just about every day. They aren't my favourite songs, just the ones that happen to always be floating near the top of the mix.

There are probably half a dozen of these. And they have probably all been doing it for a long time. I listen to a lot of new music but I don't think that I have added to this list in the last twenty-five years.

Just as well, as they are quite annoying.
