Under attack

You take one of these things and you hold it above your head and you exclaim 'we're under attack'. They're thumb tacks, so under a tack. A whole different matter of course if you call them 'drawing pins'. You and i will get on so well if you find that funny - my sense of humour can be downright profound, esoteric or existential, silly and immature or groany and puntastic.

The sketch raised a 'you had to be there' laugh with a couple of folk today and sometimes a bit of light relief is exactly what's needed when you feel, well, under attack - when there's so much work to do you don't know where to start, or where there's so much work to do that the slightest distraction is just so welcome. Yes, that kinda day.
