A sea of hills
Beth and I had a good long walk up on Hatterrall Hill today. We were following the line of Offa's Dyke. There was a stiff wind up here and on the way back showers threatened (hence Beth putting on her waterproof trousers on the left of the pic!)
We are looking to the south-west here over a sea of Welsh hills. On the left the Skirrid and on the right the great sweep of the Sugar Loaf. One of the hills in the distance is the Blorenge, which is where OB and the Wednesday walkers went this morning.
When we got back I went straight to our ballroom class with OB. Now my feet are done for the day!!
The winner of yesterday's challenge was Awaken, who correctly identified the soup garnish as fried leek roots, as seen on Masterchef. I do recommend you to take a look at Awaken's lovely photos.
