Groovy

Mast work today. After making a drilling jig this morning to enable me to drill holes in the mast and boom on centre and at right angles, this afternoon I started on making the mast.
Drilled the holes for the various stays that hold it up then fitted the gooseneck, mast foot and masthead fitting.
This is all surprisingly like a full size boat but on a smaller scale.
Groovy? It is the name given to the mast extrusion which has a groove along its length to take the luff rope on the sail. Again just like in a full size boat.
