The Toadstool Has Landed

It was another very cold day today with the temperature well below freezing again last night. I still managed to get out for another early morning run swaddled in several layers.
The upside was it was also another sparkling winter's day. So after I'd warmed up again I headed back into our local town of Maidstone for another walk by the river.
Today's image was taken next to the pedestrian footbridge that crosses the River Medway just down from All Saints Church and the Archbishops Palace. There are several of theses toadstools dotted alongside the riverside footpath (rather disappointingly they're actually rubbish bins and not real multi-coloured fungi) and I just waited until saw this lady with her pram was crossing the bridge to get my shot. I like that it has a bit of a surreal feeling to it.
