Strawberry On Ice

Today's shot is really a mea culpa to our garden's birdlife. We had some strawberries in our fridge that I'd forgotten about and they were very much on the turn so I thought I would throw them out in our back garden for the birds to enjoy.
I made two mistakes at this point - firstly I had forgotten how cold it was and secondly I did it after it had got dark last night so I had no idea how lousy my throwing action was (I won't be auditioning for any cricket or baseball teams anytime soon). I woke up this morning to see they had missed our lawn entirely and ended up in our winter jasmine hedge frozen to the foliage. I can only offer my sincerest apologies to all you blackbirds, robins and sparrows out there (other bird breeds are available)!
