Battersea Power Station

We had a trip into London today and caught the Uber boat on the river so we could hop on and off. We walked quite a lot too, between boat stops. Our first stop off was Battersea Power Station. The new development opened last October and it was fascinating to see how they had retained parts of the iconic building. 

We then did part boat and part walk past all the main sights, eventually getting off again to meet up with other members of the family for a late lunch. 

The boat trip back to Westminster was quite different with the sun setting and the lights coming on. A wonderful day. I could have posted any number of photos but this one represents a different place.
