Ripples

Backblipped on Friday 20th for Tuesday 17th!  4 Bus Pass Walkers set forth today on still icy pavements, but in glorious sunshine.  First stop Bingley Arts Centre to buy tickets for films at the community cinema on Sunday and next Tuesday.  Plans also made to see The Lady in the Van at Keighley next week.  Walked just as far as Five Rise Locks and then stopped for a coffee at the café. Back out along the canal the reflections were lovely.  I liked the rippled reflections in my photo (reminded me of the water based paintings I liked at Dean Clough Gallery last week) - the ripples were made by 2 swans approaching us hoping that we had some food - sadly we didn't have any with us.  After a lovely walk we caught a bus back to Bingley and had lunchtime refreshments at The Loft.  Beautiful day to get out walking!
