The passage of time

This is the back stair at work, showing you just what 200 years of footsteps will do to a sandstone stair. It was very cold in the stairwell today as this is effectively an unheated space and it's still pretty frosty outside.

And we're now watching some local wildlife on Winterwatch - they're live filming very close to our house!
