Relaxed Panto

Early start as I’d been invited to the relaxed performance of the pantomime and I was due to meet the others at 9.30. Didn’t have time for more than a slice of bread and marmalade so by the time it finished I could have eaten a scabby horse (Scottish saying) but made do with a sandwich on the bus home.

The relaxed panto is sponsored in part by Cash for kids and consequently they’re allowed to bring a few people along. It was wonderful to be invited, the kids from the various special schools had a wonderful time if all the cheering, booing and clapping was anything to go by and we were even offered ice cream at the interval! They keep the house lights up and remove any pyrotechnics and loud noises and introduce themselves to the audience at the start. A great way to spend the morning.

Home to catch up on blip journals (apologies for getting behind again!) and review the TinyTuesday entries. I’ll post results tomorrow as I don’t have enough hearts left to award today!

Had a call from the opticians so am heading there for 7 to collect them and I needed to Blip early as it’s Mr PHL’s art class tonight so about to cook an early dinner.
