Landscape Artist Robert Kelsey after today’s Art Demonstration at Lochgreen.

Starting with a white canvas the painting of the shore at Iona was completed and framed within 2 hours.

Robert provided a full commentary at every stage, covering colours, techniques and ‘tools’ while fielding many questions from the audience.

Robert was supported by his wife Jean who recalled amusing tales of things that didn’t always go as planned while on painting commissions.

All in all a fascinating and informative morning followed a fine lunch with interesting people.
