High Tide Evening
About 8:30 this evening I took a drive out along the Semiahmoo Spit for a moment of quiet. It was cool but beautiful and quiet. Lavender flowers bloomed among the beach grass and drift logs. The tide slapped against the shore line. That and a couple of seagulls were the only things I heard.
