Spot The Robin

I know robins can be very territorial but this one has gone a step further and erected a sign. Can other robins read?

From our walk to Sherborne this afternoon. The first time since October which is a bit mad as it is so close for us. We actually left it a bit late going and forgot how long it can take on the circuit we chose, especially if you stop at the shop for chocolate. It was getting quite dark by the time we got back to the car and I was a bit worried in case there was a gate which would be locked at dusk. I had visions of having to drive through the woods to find another exit. We were OK though :-)

I had a successful night at camera club yesterday, a highly commended for a digital image and a second place for a print of this. I also had yet another win in the raffle, a bottle of San Miguel with a glass. The bottle top will be an interesting addition to my collection.

In other news we booked some flights to Dublin for next month, for my 'big' birthday. The airport car park charges were half as much as the total cost of the flights! Tomorrow we need to find a hotel.

Coincidentally we had an email from Batsford today announcing an increase in prices from next month. We'd renewed our memberships a week or so ago, but in case anyone else is interested and wasn't aware of the increase the old prices hold until the end of the month.
