Wet
Only six mince pies left, a small chunk of Christmas Cake and a couple of tins/tubes of biscuits still to go. I also need to put a dent in the Stilton so perhaps a dessert of cheese and crackers occasionally over the next week or two.
Proper Sunday, Sam and I looked out of the window at the hail bouncing of the patio and decided the Mabe to Constantine walk planned for today was a non starter, instead the three of us enjoyed three different breakfasts before heading off to do our own thing.
I harnessed Paddy, dressed myself in three layers, woolly hat and scarf and off we went. By and large it was dry, cold though with the occasional icy shower as we had a three mile walk taking in his favourite places, Swanvale stream, the Swanpool circuit, Swanpool Beach and the cemetery before heading home.
A good haircut for me, courtesy of Mrs S, more of a shearing really, a long hot shower and an afternoon watching films with humour whilst eating biscuits.
No roast today instead a Mrs S slo-cooker stew and very nice it was to.
