sunny side up

Dumfries this morning was looking positively continental...while feeling pretty arctic.

D and I had to fiddle about with warm water and antifreeze to get the car going, as the door locks were frozen solid (this is a nice simple little car which can only be opened by actually putting the key in the lock - no remote malarky). Because the drive is still not fixed, we have to park the car down by the river and all the cold air must have collected down there. Anyway, the unfreezing got done and we made it into town and D dropped me off so that I could go to DG1.

I tried a new class this morning, called "Stretch and Flex" which felt quite gentle at the time, but later on in the day, I could feel the stretched and flexed bits! A sauna and a brief swim and then home on the bus.

Such a nice day so I took Jess out for a walk by the river later on.

Drumming tonight - good to be back in the groove :-) and the stars were so beautiful when I walked back up the drive. Hope it doesnt take to long to get defrosted tomorrow...
