A lollipop for a haircut

Our little boy had a long overdue haircut today. The hairdresser was really patient and was of the opinion that it's better for it to look a bit untidy than for him to be traumatised by the ordeal. It turned out he was complaining about the same thing I did when Iwas a kid: bits of prickly hair falling down the back and getting stuck inside his clothes. So next time we know to bring a spare top. Still not quite the short back and sides we had in mind, but we think/hope he looks a bit more boy-ish.
