Kew Gardens

Met up with Adam and Tomoko today to visit Kew Gardens. It wasn’t a pleasant journey up the motorway in the rain but I took it easy. We had coffee in a cafe near the station while the rain dwindled, and then had a pretty much rain-free visit after that. And because the weather forecast had been so wet (and probably because it is January), it was lovely and empty in the gardens, especially in the glass houses which meant they were much nicer to wander around. Last time we all visited we still had to wear masks inside so this was a much nicer experience!

An unexpected highlight was an exhibition in the gallery of work by Pip and Pop which was amazing in its size, colour and complexity. Just beautiful! https://www.kew.org/kew-gardens/whats-on/food-forever/pip-and-pop-when-flowers-dream
