It's Quicker by Train

The weather is definitely turning colder, at least the rain was over this morning and it brightened up.  After lunch we popped into town.  It was pretty busy everywhere,  we ended up in the GWR Lounge, upstairs was empty and very comfortable. 

The loos are off this room, it's a bit like stepping back in time with the building's original wooden staircase and the poster on the wall.  15 shillings and 9 pence (0.79p) for a first class ticket, 10 shillings and sixpence (0.53p) for third class, for unlimited use during one week. 

From there we walked over to Emma and Andy's to spend a happy hour or so with Raffy.
