Love bank holiday mondays....

ahh.. may is a fabulous month....not one, but two bank holiday mondays and that means short weeks!

today was predicted to be a hot one. had a walk with Lorraine planned to Shaw Wood in Alfreton. She said the bluebells there were amazing.

roof down in the car, and Pete was sick....as usual. once we got to the wood he was fine. we did hit Bank Holiday traffic on the way though, mega queue trying to get into Matlock!

Shaw Wood is lovely, and the bluebells were beautiful too. a good walk, pete and alb both enjoyed it, and also a drink in the stream.

back home, and time to mow the lawn, and then rest. a lovely bank holiday monday, hope the next one is as good.
