Crunching hailstones

This was the best of a bunch of photos I took while out for our afternoon walk. We had an incredibly heavy hail shower in the middle of the day and some of the hailstones were still evident a couple of hours later. Bertie enjoys eating snow and crunching hailstones whenever there is an opportunity.
Good news regarding our electrical fault from yesterday. It seems that it was caused not by mice but by some water ingress into an outside socket in the very heavy rain we had. The electrician was excellent at tracking it down and is going to come back and do a few small jobs for us.
