Parque Lage

A visit to Parque Lage in the Jardim Botanico area, which is a new place for us. Lovely fresh smells, huge trees and exotic plants. Lunch in Malkah (old Lorenzo's), a 20 min walk from the park. As we finished our lunch, the heavens opened and put a stop to any more wandering up that way and so we grabbed a taxi home. In the photo of the grand building, once owned by a rich industrialist, you can just see Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer.
