Ex What?

I'm backblipping. Again. Anyway, this photo made me think of the word game Wordle that has gone virus on Twitter.  See here for a write up in The Guardian about it. So, is it export, expand, exert, exact or what?!

We tried a new dish for dinner tonight, from a recipe book called 'Spanish Cooking' by Janet Mendel, which was a pressie from Simon B, colleague and friend in our early days here, in the 90s. Bb went to Aldi's for one thing at the weekend and came back with some rabbit pieces! The recipe was easy enough : marinade the pieces for min 6hrs up to 24 in white wine, chopped garlic, sliced onions, lemon juice and a piece of lemon. Afterwards, dip in flour, brown and put back in the marinade and cook in the oven for 30 mins.  We had it with mashed potatoes, but we both agreed it was lacking something. Not sure what, but not a keeper. I think I'll stick to having rabbit in  restaurant, grilled with ali oli.
