Christmas trees. Everywhere

When I went out for my walk this morning, it was like the whole world was covered in Christmas trees. Turns out that today is the day when Edinburgh Council collect all the discarded Christmas trees from our area. What we would like to know is....................... If people don't put their Christmas tree out for collection today and put them out tomorrow...................... will they just lie on the street forever???????????????????
