Arctic ambush

No photos taken today so this is another one from the exhibition I went to yesterday which I thought was amazing….the photographer(Theo Allofs)  had sailed for days through loose pack ice when he spotted a lone polar bear. “Approaching the sleeping bearded seal, the bear dived down before rocketing out of the water, propelling its body onto the ice floe. ( as seen here) It missed its target and the seal escaped into the water. “

Lots of patience needed for wildlife photography…you realise this when you read the info about how some shots were obtained.

Met a friend this morning for coffee and then did a bit of gardening, replacing plants in balcony o,antlers,  in between rain showers. Then some boring household chores and still have ironing to do.
