Building the Nest

It was a nice morning today, although fairly windy, so I set off to see the Ospreys. I went armed with camera, tripod, binoculars and coffee. I was prepared to wait and spend a couple of hours with them, which I did. They are busy adding more branches and twigs to the nest. It must get bigger every year as they keep adding to it. I took lots of shots, but I particularly liked this one where it showed the female coming in with a branch in her talons to add to the nest. The detail in the wings I thought gave a sense of the size of the bird against the tree branches. So there it is, one of my Ospreys nest building.
