A Break

The sun was out for part of the day! a welcome respite from the storms. But roads are still closing and opening, trees fall, slides slide. The ground is so saturated that root systems simply can't hold on. My son the tree guy spent his work day going from job site to job site, fixing what he could on the spot, and coming up with a plan for everything else. Damage is severe. He's exhausted. In addition to the workload, he has to plan his route home very carefully to avoid blocked roads. Thank goodness for apps and groups and maps. He's come up with some very creative ways to make it over the mountain at the end of the day.

We had hail for about five minutes this morning, just to keep it interesting.
