New Friend

This pony is one of a new pair that have appeared at a different person's house on Chapel Spring Lane. The place that The Husband calls "the tree haters" because when they moved in several years ago they cut down ALL the trees in order to create pasture for horses. After a couple of years a pair of horses appeared (they've been blipped, but I can't find them), and then one of them got swapped out for a different one, and then they disappeared completely. At least a year has gone by since there were any horses in the fields, and now two new ones have appeared. Ponies, I'd say - much smaller than the pair that originally were there. This one is almost always up at the fence and very glad to be friends and have carrots. The other one isn't so into it, but has come over once for a treat. This guy (and it is a guy) has lovely fuzzy legs and feet, and a tail that touches the ground (see extra). The people who live there apparently have several horses that they keep on someone else's property not too far away, but at one point there was some talk about one of the temporary denizens of this particular field not being actually one of theirs. Something about which horses got along with each other or something. Anyway - I don't care - I'm just glad to have something new to schmooze with on our walks - whoever they might actually belong to.

The extra looks like it's sideways. Not sure what that's about. Also not sure I'm going to bother to try to fix it. ******* Well crap. Tried to fix it and now it won't upload at all. Sigh. I'll publish without it and then try to add it.
