Early Start - Long Day

5:30am out of bed and bleary eyed downstairs to see Joshua and Tiana off on their journey north. Having done the same thing myself for thirty-five years I understand that there is always that wrench between leaving what was your home and heading off for what is now your home.
Mrs S, Sam and I went back to bed before getting up mid morning, still tired, for a lazy day.

We tracked Joshua and Tiana’s journey home throughout a day that included a longish walk for Paddy who definitely misses the “Tiny Terrorist”, Karl, he’ll miss her. Sam joined me on the walk for some Father-Daughter time.

J&T arrived home safely despite finding a nail sticking out of one of their rear wheels.

We are down to our last 16 mince pies!!
