Storm Coming

Friday, the middle of three consecutive days at the rugby club. Joshua and I headed out to see friends Richard and Jackie first, my Friday treat to myself. A coffee or two, a tot of rum and a catch up with friends and today I saw Jackie, the first time she has been well enough for a couple of months, great to see her.
Midday I was in the rugby club kitchen preparing the chilli for tomorrow, three hours of chopping onions, peppers, chillies etc, frying mince, stirring it together and checking not too hot!
Cleaning up the kitchen, leave it as you find it, involves taking the rubbish to the ‘Biffa’ bins which is when I noticed the growing flock of seagulls on the pitch, as sure sign that a storm is coming.

Home for a quiet evening, Mrs S and Tiana are taken with a series called Lucifer on Netflix, me not so much which gives me the opportunity to get started on my 2023 Book Challenge, 52 again this year.

Big day at FRFC for Josh and I tomorrow, he has been appointed as the referee by Cornwall RFU and I’m duty cook.
