This old gentleman has been caught int he middle of legalise marihuana demonstration that have taken place on Puerta del Sol. Whether was he willing participant or simple bystander I couldn't guess, but he was surely much younger than rest of the demonstrators.
Puerta del Sol was last part of our daily itinerary, that started in Prado where like first time some 15 years ago we had excellent guide, this time woman in her seventies. We decided to focus on Spanish, but she started with Tintoretto's " Christ Washing the Disciples' Feet " which with multi-perspective was real discovery. Goya's "Black Paintings" which I vaguely knew of were also mad an impact. We stayed couple of hours so we left rest of the collection for the next visit.
Lunch was in the garden of the hotel which was quite pleasant. As said afternoon walk ended in Porta del Sol where B spent endless time in shop that sells fans and increased their daily revenue by substantial amount.
Dinner was at Lhardy where I have taken tripe. Portion was so big that I could sleep most of the night
