All part of the puzzle
The day dawned dry and reasonably bright so I decided to get out on the bank to do some gardening, largely to take all the dead fronds off the ferns and rake leaves. I first phoned a friend who I hadn't contacted for a while and while talking commented on the fact that the sun was shining, albeit rather weakly, and that I ought to get out there soon.
So I did, to find that the sun had gone in and a little light rain was falling, while the wind was getting up! I put up with it for half an hour and then gave up - oh well, I managed to do something!
Spent the early afternoon contacting friends who had written letters inside their Christmas cards and then put the Christmas boxes up in the loft. Then I thought 'Blip'! It was getting very dim outside, so I've Blipped - not very well - the jigsaw that Mrs M and the girls began before Christmas. I did fit in a few pieces from time to time, but Mrs M said I could only take a picture if I finished the puzzle afterwards, so that's what I'm now going to do!
Quote of the Day -
