It isn't easy being green

This little praying mantis, about 4 cm long, was struggling to free itself from a thin strand of cobweb. I helped it out and put it on the ground where it latched on to this plant in the lawn. 

I hope I didn't do the wrong thing, disrupting the cosmic order of nature, but I couldn't help myself. I love praying mantis, especially cute little green ones. It could have been injured - hard to tell - and might not survive but it may have a fighting chance.
