Epiphany

In practical terms Epiphany means a day off work. The fog had settled on the lowlands, but having the chance to go rowing on the lake was an opportunity to be seized. 4 women, 1 boat, a still, calm lake with no-one else on it save the herons and ducks, it had a magic all of it's own. 
Afterwards we shared hot tea, snacks, dried kaki and torroncini. Cycling home in the dusk I passed the lakefront in Caslano which looked particularly festive with it's Christmas tree lit up in front of a gloomy looking lake.
